DESIGN COMPETITION
Interior design is essential for optimising the functionality and aesthetics of interior spaces in both residential and commercial settings. It involves creating layouts that enhance efficiency, using elements like colour and furniture to improve visual appeal, and reflecting brand identity in commercial spaces. Well-designed interiors contribute to the well-being and productivity of occupants, address safety and accessibility concerns, and can increase property value. Architects and Interior designers also play a role in resource optimisation, selecting sustainable materials and adapting spaces to changing needs over time. Ultimately, interior design is a multidisciplinary field that combines creativity and technical expertise to create environments that positively impact people's lives.
COMPETITION PROCEDURE

The competition brief shall be provided to participants after they complete the Registration process. The last date for Registration is 29th February 2024.

After completing registration, participants can start working on their Projects for submission.

For USE OF LIGHT IN INTERIOR DESIGN & USE OF COLOUR IN INTERIOR DESIGN, the students need to submit their college project that is suited for the entry.

The young designers willing to participate in the competition are required to send their projects for the given categories.

The projects being submitted by the student participants need to have their college department seal on the sheets and the young designers participating need to have their firm seal on the drawings.

The drawings shall be drafted in AutoCAD to the scale of 1:25/ 1:50.

3D views can be prepared in any available software such as 3ds Max, Lumion, SketchUp etc.

All queries/clarifications related to the project entry shall be submitted to iiidjrceducation@gmail.com on or before 15th March 2024.

The last date for submitting the Projects online is 15th March 2024.

During the course of time, the participants shall be informed of the day, and date of the preliminary presentation, tentatively in the last week of March till the first week of April 2024.

The participants shall be informed of the qualified candidates for the final round after the preliminary Viva.

The awards ceremony shall be held in the Valedictory ceremony on the 13th of April 2024.

All presentation drawings shall be submitted online only by the participants.

No hard copies/ printouts of any kind of presentation drawings/ entries shall be required/ entertained.

No models shall be required either.

Payment once made will not be refunded.

Judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entertained after the final judging.

The organizer reserves all rights to disqualify anyone who does not abide by the rules and regulations.

Winning participants will be notified through E-mails and will have to make their travel & stay arrangements to attend the Award ceremony to be held in Jaipur on 13th April 2024.
